Back Pain

Back Pain is a very common complaint during pregnancy – in fact between 50-70% of women experience it to some degree. Back pain most commonly occurs later in pregnancy. As the baby and your uterus grow, your center of gravity will shift forward causing your posture to change as well. And of course the added weight you are carrying also impact your back.

Things to Try:

  • Pay attention to your posture
  • Use your abdominal muscles when you sit or stand
  • Avoid wearing high heels or shoes that do not provide support
  • Try elevating your feet
  • Eat more calcium- rich foods
  • Go for a Walk
  • Get a Massage
  • Try Chiropractic Care
